He told her our life is like a puzzle and there are many pieces involved in its assembly. "Endless possibilities."
Her mind wandered to images of a grand puzzle. She turned and said to him, "What am I suppose to do with my piece?"
He said, "There are many components that go into painting. The rule is, you have to paint your own picture. You cannot paint for another person. Each is responsible for their own but you can influence one another in the process and let your colors beautifully blend, creating a grandeur masterpiece."
She put her head down and spoke back to him softly. "I'm not so sure I'm a good painter."
He listened.
She continued, "What if I'm not content with what I've painted so far?"
He said, "Every time the sun comes up there is a new day. In that new day there are new hours, minutes and seconds. You are continually painting your piece and recreating your work in every new moment."
She sighed. "I feel much too insignificant to be painting so much."
"You are if you think about how many people paint as much as you." He remarked with a wink & a smile.
They laughed.
He took her hand and they walked the most beautiful bridge together.
She paused in the middle and peered over the railing with a relieved smile, "I guess I can start again by trying to paint this".
He smiled back. "I think you've got the picture."
