Harvard Class about Happiness Guiding Question to Understand

"From a very early age, we start responding by rote, by pattern. I'm happy, I'm sad, I'm angry.. I'm occasionally joyous.

This self we have is not actually us, it's just a bunch of patterns and ruts.

We misascribe our habits to being who we really are. This is why Confucius says we must submit ourselves to ritual.

Rituals break us of our habits.

What is a ritual that you have for the holidays, possibly? How do you interact in that space? How do you dress, eat, etc.?"

Harvard Class about Happiness

"Here's what we are at birth, we are a mess. We're a mess of different energies, faculties, stuff."

"The Sun Will Shine Again"

Tears splash like a young person running into the waves of the ocean.

You gave me the feeling of floating freely.

The salt water runs down my cheeks.

Drew

Today was Drew's birthday. 16 years old he left this earth. I was only 15. I miss him so much.

Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive (Official Music Video)

This song is a CPR song. That means the beat of this song can help regulate someone's heartbeat and that first aid providers can play the song to help them know how quickly to massage the heart during compressions by going along with the beat.

How to Develop into a Goal-scoring Machine by Chat GPT

A great striker is a blend of skill, instinct, and mentality. Here are some key qualities to explore with our readers:

  1. Clinical Finishing: A good striker knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. Whether it's a one-touch strike, a header, or a composed finish, they have a knack for converting chances.

  2. Movement and Positioning: Top strikers always seem to be in the right place at the right time. Their off-the-ball movement and ability to read the game make them dangerous. They create space for themselves, pull defenders out of position, and are always alert for scoring opportunities.

  3. Pace and Agility: Speed isn't just about sprinting down the field; it’s about quick bursts of movement and the agility to turn defenders. Quick acceleration can be enough to create separation for a scoring chance.

  4. Strength and Physicality: A good striker can hold off defenders, shield the ball, and win aerial duels. Physicality often keeps them dangerous even when tightly marked.

  5. Composure Under Pressure: Great strikers stay cool when they’re through on goal. They make good decisions and pick their spots when it counts, even under intense pressure from defenders or the clock.

  6. Tactical Awareness: Strikers aren’t just there to score. They can play a role in pressing defenders, linking up play, and even dropping deep to create chances for teammates.

  7. Confidence and Mental Toughness: Every striker misses chances; what makes a great striker stand out is the ability to stay motivated and focused, bounce back from setbacks, and keep pushing for the next opportunity.

  8. Adaptability: Different situations require different approaches, and a great striker adapts to varying defenses, formations, and in-game conditions.

Think of your favorite strikers in the game, reflecting on what makes them stand out. How do you develop into a goal-scoring machine?
