Sketching with the Procreate App Plus Time-lapse Video

Back to where we were with the Procreate lesson...
Once you have the 2nd layer aligned with the first layer, it’s time to sketch with your Apple Pencil.
When you are done, or during your sketch, you can look at your sketch by clicking the check mark on the right side of your layers next to the layer you don’t want to see.
Now that you have completed the sketch, you might want to share it with your family and friends... For this you will need to go to the wrench on the left hand side of the Procreate App and open the button that looks like a video camera and click the button that says, “Export Time-lapse video”.
You’ll then see something like this...
Save to videos.
You probably are already familiar with how to share videos from your photo and video gallery.

Apple Pencil and Sketching with Procreate

So, now that I have the 2nd layer open I’m going to push the check mark on the right hand side next to the letter “N” and I will have a blank page to sketch on. I’m going to push the check mark again so I can look at what I’m sketching.
For this step I will definitely need my Apple Pencil. Without an Apple Pencil you can fingerprint and such with the Procreate App but when it comes to sketching and fine details you’ll greatly benefit from and enjoy your Apple Pencil. If you don’t have one already, go into your nearest Apple store and get the one that is compatible with your device (approx $99).
If you are a little bit worried about buying a Pencil that is approximately $99 (depending on your device), think about it like this... If you or someone else would pay $1 for every piece of work you created on the Procreate App, it is completely worth it.
