Apple Pencil and Sketching with Procreate
So, now that I have the 2nd layer open I’m going to push the check mark on the right hand side next to the letter “N” and I will have a blank page to sketch on. I’m going to push the check mark again so I can look at what I’m sketching.
For this step I will definitely need my Apple Pencil. Without an Apple Pencil you can fingerprint and such with the Procreate App but when it comes to sketching and fine details you’ll greatly benefit from and enjoy your Apple Pencil. If you don’t have one already, go into your nearest Apple store and get the one that is compatible with your device (approx $99).
If you are a little bit worried about buying a Pencil that is approximately $99 (depending on your device), think about it like this... If you or someone else would pay $1 for every piece of work you created on the Procreate App, it is completely worth it.

Number Two Procreate Cartoon
I want to make this picture of my son putting his hand under the bathroom door into a type of cartoon. So here is an example of what I can create with the Procreate App.
I go to the top right corner of the page and press the + and choose screen size. I then will have a blank white sheet of screen size paper.
Open first gadget in toolbox, the wrench and push “Insert a photo”
Push the little blue arrow to set picture into place.
Now I want to sketch over the picture so I’m going to add a layer. Little blue button that looks like stacked papers, click and push + sign for second layer.
