Painting Gold

"You can go there." My son says while referring to a painting.

The painting is of a snowy path surrounded by trees with golden light. I created a philosophy about it. My philosophy is that the painter walked a path alone that was too beautiful not to share.

I look at my son like he is golden and smile in my heart.

Imagination Plus Engineering

Imagineers at Disneyland are governed by a few principles, according to Wikipedia, one of which includes the "blue sky speculation". This is a process where imagineers, a combination of the words imagination and engineering, are able to generate ideas with no limits.

Sunshine and Moonlight

I wake up to you grunting because you are hungry or you don't like the way the blankets are... those are my favorite kind of sounds.
I lay with you while your tired hand holds mine... that is my favorite feeling.
You hold my face with your hands and look me straight in the eyes... that is my favorite sight.

The way you jump when you hear a loud noise makes me laugh because it reminds me getting scared is a part of being human.
You help me accept things about myself I otherwise might be ashamed of.

When everyone is encouraged to dance and be merry you observe and feel happy in your heart to witness such joy. "Again!" Your quiet enthusiasm makes my soul smile.

Creeek

The sounds of comfort like that creeeking door
Makes you feel like you're at home.
The picture of the old you your friend holds dear
That kind of love carries you through.
This tiny pad of paper my Dad gave me
Makes me want to write love notes.

Tender Heart

Be gentle with her. Not just physically, but also emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Know that she is finding herself and give her the time and space to do so. Support and encourage her in the process. Know that what she says, does and doesn't do has a lot more to do with her than it does with you. Give her a higher perspective when she can't see from the pedestal you put her on.
